PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Duties and Responsibilities
Liaises with Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) on all issues, including tenders Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for quality, price, and delivery terms Drafts, review and manage supplier contracts, Ensures compliance with company policies, PRAZ, and relevant laws Maintains accurate purchasing records and documentation Monitors contracts with suppliers and periodically checks for consistency with the delivery dates. Ensures ethical sourcing and avoid conflicts of interest Maintains purchasing within approved budgets

Qualifications and Experience
5 ‘O’ Level ordinary passes including English and Maths. Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.
2 year relevant experience in public sector in procurement. Agood knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Experience with SAP is an added advantage. Corporate membership of professional institution.
